Who we are
Wealth Foundations Canada is the education and recruiting system of a team of financial professionals who work with World Financial Group. This policy covers this website, wealthfoundations.ca, the class registration form, and the fit quiz on this site.
What we collect
Only what the forms on this site ask for: your name, email address, optional mobile number, city, province or territory, preferred language, the class session you choose, who invited you, your answers in the fit quiz if you take it, and your attendance at sessions you register for. We do not buy lists, we do not scrape information about you from other sources, and we do not collect financial account details, health information, or government identification through this site. Licensing, if you ever start it, involves separate official processes outside this website.
Why we collect it
To register you for the class you chose, send your confirmation and Zoom link, remind you at the right time in your own time zone, keep an accurate guest record for the session, follow up the way the automation described on this site does, and, where you have consented, send teaching emails and future class invitations. Your province and language are recorded so that any licensing information you ever receive is the correct information for where you live, and in the language you chose.
Consent and how to withdraw it
Marketing emails are sent only where you have given express consent on the registration form or the quiz. Every email identifies us and carries an unsubscribe link. One click withdraws consent, and withdrawing stops all marketing contact from this system. Withdrawing consent does not delete records we are required to keep for attendance and compliance purposes, and those records are never used for marketing after you withdraw.
Who sees it
Your information is used by this team: Sean Leduc, Shaun Bisson, and, where you book an interview or attend a presentation, Senior Marketing Director Jason Gehrels, who receives a short brief built from what you provided so the meeting is useful. We do not sell your information. We do not trade it. Service providers who run the website, email delivery, forms, and calendar tools process it only to provide those services.
How long we keep it and how it is protected
Guest records are kept while you are active with us and for a reasonable period afterwards for attendance and compliance records, then deleted or anonymised. Access is limited to the team members named above. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, and no system can promise perfect security, so we collect as little as we reasonably can in the first place.
Your rights and how to reach us
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where the law allows it, by contacting the privacy contact for this site. We respond to privacy requests promptly and in the language you used to contact us, English or French.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date, and material changes affecting consent will be brought to your attention by email where you have consented to email.
